Working with the local Gambian Community in Madison, Wisconsin we were able to build a small building and establish a library in this rural village. We later added solar power to the classroom building to enable evening study labs and community meetings.

Thika, Kenya
A fellow TPP (The Pollination Project) grantee runs Ark Star Academy for disadvantaged youth in Thika. We were able to prepare a library room for them and provide books.
Mt Kenya Area Primary Schools
Kirinyaga, Kenya
A chance meeting at a Pollination Project Grantee meeting in Nairobi precipitated a project to open libraries in six primary schools in the Mt Kenya area.

Valley View Academy 2014
Mathare, Nairobi, Africa
Our initial project, a library for Valley View Academy a primary school for 1,000 kids in the Mathare slum area of Nairobi, prompted us to want to do more! In 2015 we created their computer lab and sent them additional books.
Abundant Life 2015
Mathare, Nairobi, Kenya
This small but mighty school was our second location. Also located in the Mathare slum area of Nairobi, the school was forced to close after a fire damaged part of the building. We are hoping they open again soon!

We worked with Friends of UNIFAT to establish a library and computer lab at Unifat School in Gulu
